The Opportunity | Product Line Manager (Outside Sales)
Curtiss-Wright Plant Performance and Information Solutions divisions currently have significant installed base in nuclear power and a niche installed base with significant growth potential in other industrial markets.
Role will be based at Division Headquarters in Brea, CA. Remote or alternate CW office locations will be considered for individuals with significant selling experience with like products and customers.
This position is responsible for growth in our Plant Monitoring and Control product lines. This product line includes, but is not limited to,
Digital control systems
Plant process computers
Plant annunciator systems
Major Accountabilities /Deliverables
Direct sales to end users, OEM's, and AE firms alone or in conjunction with account managers, representatives, or resellers.
Achievement of annual new order budgets and growth objectives in line with the division strategy and objectives. Market Analysis to determine customer needs. Outside sales and coordination with sales representatives.
Coordination with product development and engineering teams on customer requirements and product development priorities
Establish and maintains close personal contact with key customers and attend a variety of conferences and other external meetings to explore sales opportunities and understand market trends.
Identification of customer needs and coordination with operations for new product development.
Market analysis to identify sales trends, new product needs, market size, etc.
Managing opportunities in the CRM system
Bachelor's Degree in IT or Engineering degree. Power plant or utility experience and MBA are considered a plus.
5 -- 10 years sales experience selling similar or related product lines
5-10 years data acquisition and control system design and sales experience or 5-10 years system integration and software design and sales experience
5-10 years of million dollar plus consultative strategic selling sales experience
Experience in development and implementation of product marketing campaigns
Significant travel of approximately 50% will be required
