The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Process Specialist is part of the team responsible for the Bill of Material and math data processes and systems. The team is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the PLM systems and processes across multiple regions and industrial functions. The PLM Process Specialist is considered a subject matter expert who provides technical guidance, training and organization/process/system knowledge from experience with engineering and other global industrial functions. This position requires a high level of communication and leadership competency using expertise in the management of part data and integration with Teamcenter.

The selected candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting operational issues

  • Educating global users on PLM processes and systems

  • Improving the systems (Teamcenter, NX, Bill of Material) through benchmarking and the study of current practices

  • Working closely with industrial function and IT partners to ensure project deliverables are met

  • Leading business requirements gathering sessions, document requirements and supporting development work with our IT partners

  • Monitoring and testing IT solutions before implementation to ensure requirements are met

  • Assisting with project communication

  • Writing and maintaining user documentation and serve as a point of contact for Bill of Material global process issues

A successful candidate is a self-starter with a passion for innovation, comfortable working in a global setting, experienced in project management, experienced in documenting business system requirements and demonstrated ability to lead a cross-functional team toward a common solution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • NX/Teamcenter experience

  • Bill of material experience

  • Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field

  • Master's degree in business management or technical field

  • Two years of experience in NX/Teamcenter

  • Two years of experience in bill of material

  • Aptitude for understanding IT system design, data structures and data security

  • One year of experience in project management

  • Aptitude working in MS Project

  • Prior experience as BoM/Specification Analyst

  • Prior experience with FCA's Electronic Bill of Material (EBoM)

  • Prior experience as a user of STV data

  • Prior experience developing and providing training

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Under supervision and guidance provide product management support to assigned region on pricing, statistical, regulatory and marketing aspects of a given product or state. Responsible for gathering, monitoring, analyzing and interpreting data for assigned product, pricing and marketing areas/business units.
