The Product Information Coordinator oversees the setup, costing and configuration of all finished goods, stock, raw material parts. Processes new orders from customer service and sends production orders to the fabrication and manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Process orders provided by customer service

  • Issue transfer and production order numbers for plant

  • Enters new orders in manpower

  • Create all items from Raw Materials to Finished Products

  • Create and maintain Product masters

  • Maintain Configuration log and send periodic updates to customer service and manufacturing

  • Create and maintain BOM's

  • Create and maintain Std Cost list across company divisions

  • Enter and Update Standard Cost as needed

  • Report updates and reevaluation to Plastic Controller

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in AXUG webinars and discussions on product information management

  • Participate in supplemental education provided by the company

  • Understand cost sheets, standard cost and tooling amortization

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an Associate's degree business program or have equivalent work experience

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good math skills

  • Basic Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

  • Associate degree (business) preferred

  • Knowledge of standard costing and bill of materials preferred

Insights assist Employer Benefits Administrators to develop and optimize their strategic benefits program while managing costs. Reporting tools provide Brokers and Sellers with real data and actionable insights on product performance. The Director of Product Management for Analytics acts as the portfolio leader of the suite of solutions that support Consumers, Employers, Brokers, and Sellers in unlocking the insights of the Benefitfocus Marketplace to create great decision outcomes. The Director works in partnership with technology portfolio owners, product managers, data scientists and product owners to lead the decomposition and execution of epics through cross-functional teams of Product Management, User Experience, User Research, Quality and Engineering to drive the Benefitfocus portfolio of products forward. The Director of Product Management is accountable for the health, strategy, and profitability of the portfolio playing a leadership role in enterprise prioritization and planning. Additionally, the Director of Product Management manages a team of both Product Managers and Product Owners who are responsible for the products within the portfolio. Primary Responsibilities: * Set product portfolio definition, strategy, measures for success, and process for team's execution * Coaching, professional development, and support a team of Product Managers and Product Owners * Portfolio health and profitability (Financials, Software Quality, Scalability, Performance, Infrastructure) * Epic prioritization and resource planning at the program level including trade-off decisions for funding products within the portfolio * Design oversight, coordination and solution direction in alignment with market driven business strategy * Cross functional coordination of design and execution teams * Support of buy, build partner evaluations * Key member supporting Core Teams and supporting Product Managers responsible for individual product line strategies * Commercialization of multi-functional area feature needs Skills and Experience: * Deep background in enterprise business intelligence, analytics technology, machine learning and marketplace solutions * Minimum of 5 years experience in leadership role within product development or product management * Minimum of 7 years of experience in software product management * Demonstrated success both managing existing marketplace analytics products, shipping new products, and managing product financials * Proven success developing careers of product owners and / or product managers * Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority * Experience managing technology products in analytics, consumer experience insights, and employer benefits management * Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) * Technical background, with experience in shipping SaaS solutions * Computer Science, Information or Engineering degree and work experience is a plus Benefitfocus Charlotte NC
