The Product Information Coordinator oversees the setup, costing and configuration of all finished goods, stock, raw material parts. Processes new orders from customer service and sends production orders to the fabrication and manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Process orders provided by customer service

  • Issue transfer and production order numbers for plant

  • Enters new orders in manpower

  • Create all items from Raw Materials to Finished Products

  • Create and maintain Product masters

  • Maintain Configuration log and send periodic updates to customer service and manufacturing

  • Create and maintain BOM's

  • Create and maintain Std Cost list across company divisions

  • Enter and Update Standard Cost as needed

  • Report updates and reevaluation to Plastic Controller

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in AXUG webinars and discussions on product information management

  • Participate in supplemental education provided by the company

  • Understand cost sheets, standard cost and tooling amortization

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an Associate's degree business program or have equivalent work experience

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Good math skills

  • Basic Microsoft Office experience (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

  • Associate degree (business) preferred

  • Knowledge of standard costing and bill of materials preferred

Job Description Job Summary: * Performs functions associated with all wafer production operations, including photolithography, thin film, etch and electroplating. * Performs set-up, calibration and preventative maintenance tasks on wafer fabrication equipment. * Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. * Uses sophisticated programs to track and control wafers through the production process. * May coach or train other lower level technicians, to develop teamwork, leadership and technical skills. * Works with engineering in conducting tests and experiments. * This position will frequently operate in a self-directed work team environment Requirements: Enter Required and Preferred Skills/Experience * High School diploma with 2 - 4 years of related experience preferred * 8+ years experience with operation of wafer-based manufacturing equipment * Must be able to perform light lifting and carrying duties * Demonstrated computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications * Must be able and willing to evening shift and/or day shift, including some weekday and weekend overtime when required. * Must be able to sit and stand for an extended period of time (3-5 hrs) * US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required. * Working Conditions: Perform duties in a clean room environment, which requires special protective-outer garments (provided by the company) to maintain cleanliness in the workspace.
