Position Summary:

This role will be responsible for flexing between the Product Finishing department with bottling and related processes, as well as the Kit assembly team; responsible for packaging and releasing kits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow a kit pack document to successfully pack orders for shipment.

  • Collect and inspect finished product prior to packaging.

  • Box, shrink wrap, label and package shipments as required.

  • Assemble components to meet product cycle times and quality expectations.

  • Document results, process, and refer to past batch records.

  • Maintain spreadsheets of completed orders.

  • Understand applicable databases to gather products based on work orders.

  • Ensure that orders are picked and packed accurately; performing quality inspections as instructed.

  • Maintain and organize product storage areas (coolers, freezers, and shelves)

  • Understand and follow appropriate lab protocols with capability to follow department specific SOP's and proper use of equipment and hand tools.

  • Participate in continuous process improvement efforts.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Use mobile devices to pick finished goods products in the warehouse based off work orders, by product location, item, and quantity.

  • Stage items correctly for packing and shipping

  • Replenish floor stock of shipping materials using pallet jacks, while ensuring safety regulations are followed.

  • Unload and load materials to/from vendor vehicles as needed.

  • Ensures warehouse goals are met.

  • Assist with putting inventory into locations for order fulfillment as needed.

  • Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance with the job.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which includes some time as a Product Finishing Attendant, Key Responsibilities include:

  • Cap vials or tubes, operate the torquing equipment and remove vials from filling equipment.

  • Label product and remove vials from labeling equipment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 0-2 years of warehouse/shipping & kitting experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to pay attention to detail so that orders are accurate.

  • Can work independently and with a team.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

  • Must have the ability to follow work instructions and priorities as determined by a supervisor.

  • The job will require standing and moving to pack orders.

  • Must demonstrate flexibility to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to learn how to perform multiple functions within the department.

  • Basic knowledge of warehouse processes

  • Basic knowledge of mathematics

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to work in coolers and freezers for periods of time.

  • Ability to communicate professionally, both written and verbal

  • Ability to problem solve; including the ability to identify problems and bring to management to evaluate a course of action.

  • Skills to accurately pick and pack products for shipment.
