The Product Engineer is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of all production activities on the warehouse floor. These activities include but are not limited to maintaining all customer files (writing and updating), troubleshooting any and all issues that should arise from the configuration phase through customer acceptance to final delivery of product.
The Product Engineer must possess superior communication skills, as remaining connected and open with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to be up to date on all hardware, software, tool and/or cable changes. Along customer partnership and experience participating, designing and executing product solution and OEM configuration, effectively and aligned to Ingram Micro policies and client demand.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent 4-year College Degree or 2-year technical degree
Experience: Minimum of 3 years related experience preferred OEM Certificate preferred Visual Basic and Microsoft office VBA preferred Pre-employment drug screen All OEM/ODM loading and testing equipment preferred
Excellent skill set in communicating and customer facing
Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks/initiatives, think through and effectively respond to rapid change, quickly grasp new concepts and programs within Ingram Micro Commerce and Lifecycle Services and Logistics industry and perform duties with accuracy and sense of urgency
Reasoning, problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills
Manufacture, logistics and or distribution industry knowledge
