Support Manufacturing functions and well as design mechanical and electromechanical products/systems, with a specific focus on design, prototype builds, and supporting product qualification testing.

Develop a deep product understanding.
Support manufacturing throughput functions in Quality, Manufacturing and Customer Service.
Develop a skill set in assembling all Proserv Gilmore valve products
Develop design-engineering skills leveraging a strong core fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering principles.
Assemble, test, and formally report findings on prototype valves and R&D investigations.
Develop procedures for Assembly and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and support the actual assembly and test activities.
Provide input on designs, testing, and next development steps.
Participate in customer discussions, scope of project definitions, and development of solutions.
Trouble shoot systems and valves/ perform root cause analyses
Offer solution concepts
Provide complete design packages including models, calculations, and drawings.
Prepare and present designs for review; build and test prototypes.
Provide reports to management on project progress and timelines.
Confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods.
Design testing methods to assure system and product quality; test finished product and system capabilities; confirm fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Prepare product documentation, drawings, and other materials for successful product launch into the market.

1-6 year's work experience in the oil and gas industry.
Experience with 3D modeling software.
Internship completed in related field
Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
Results oriented with good project management, organizational, prioritization, and team-based skills.
Experience with 3D solid modeling software (SolidWorks), drawing generation, and GD&T (general dimensioning and tolerance).
Hands on experience with building of prototype assemblies, or other building type projects involving direct assembly or fabrication of components and assemblies.
