Position Title: Product Director of Edge Storage
About the Role-You Will:
be a key member of the core team setting strategic product direction for the portfolio
work with business stakeholders, customers, partners and engineering leaders to support organizational goals
Understand and communicate market trends, storage architecture in this emerging market
Gather requirements from the partners and customers in this ecosystem
Influence product roadmap, feature prioritization and requirements for the HDD / SSD portfolio
Collaborate with customer/partner architecture teams in optimizing Seagate products for various Edge Storage solutions
Use strong business judgment and a pragmatic approach to deliver market leading storage solutions
Utilize influence and effective communication to drive closer alignment among cross functional groups and stakeholders both within Seagate and in the Edge Ecosystem
Work cross functionally within Seagate across the HDD, SSD, Systems and Future Technology teams to achieve business objectives
Work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, across functions and with external parties
About Our Group:
In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that manages growing the features of the Seagate storage portfolio. Our group is responsible for the hard drive (HDD) and solid state drive (SSD) management and edge enclosure integration portfolio for the edge and edge data center markets.

Your Experience Includes:
Expert knowledge of data center strategy & operations, capacity, utilization, disaster recovery, and migration & consolidation and best practices.
Advanced working knowledge of data center infrastructure, such as virtualization technologies, operating systems, platform migration, data management, networking, facilities, and operational facilities.
Experience with common as-a-Service offerings with various service providers across various solution stacks (infrastructure, platform, software).
Advanced knowledge of IT Service Management and Service Delivery.
Working knowledge of any of the following: Linux/Ceph/AWS/Azure/GCS
The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert in drive technologies and trends
Product management experience in the technology industry.
Strong working and market knowledge of Software Defined Storage and storage open source platforms
Should have successfully completed multiple product releases, preferably cradle-to-grave
Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
Location: Cupertino, CA or Longmont, CO
Travel: up to 30% overnight
