The Chase Auto business offers consumers car loans and leases through more than 12,000 auto dealerships across the country. The Direct Auto line of business is focused on offering purchase and refinance loans directly to consumers online and in the branch.
Direct Auto is looking to hire an Executive Director to lead the business through strategic decisions around operational execution and product development resulting in improved business productivity and/or an enhanced customer journey. This person will identify, scope and lead projects meeting those two primary objectives. He or she will oversee and manage the implementation and execution of the identified initiatives through partnering with multiple stakeholders in Chase Auto, including IT, operations, and finance among others. This person will lead a team of product and process professionals that will work across the organization to enable key business objectives.
Partner with other functions in Direct Auto (underwriting, booking and funding, sales) to identify opportunities to improve productivity and/or customer journey. Define and scope projects that will meet business internal return on investment to implement.
Manage the end to end execution of various projects including design, project planning, working with stakeholders to execute until final implementation. Oversee all change management associated with projects.
Lead product development efforts to support business evolution, including developing requirements, business case assumptions and overall process management until implementation.
Ensures Direct Auto is tracking and managing the appropriate business metrics to improve operational productivity and more frictionless customer journey. Define the targets required to achieve optimal service levels and customer journey.
Minimum 7+ years in a consumer lending business in leadership positions
Experience in interfacing and working on initiatives with senior executives
Demonstrated leadership experience, including strong cross-functional relationship building and negotiation skills
Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interact at all levels of the organization
Track record in process improvement and re-engineering
Strong relationship building and influencing skills
Ability to effectively and cooperatively manage a team
Willingness to travel, as needed
