Job Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver large projects within the Life Cycle Plan (LCP)

  • Lead technical integration and technical correctness of all parts, systems and total vehicle scope

  • Deliver to all Quality, Cost, Weight, Timing, and Voice of Customer (VOC) targets

  • Oversee Design Engineer deliverables via approvals of design reviews approval, DFMEA & DVP&Rs, drawings, and TIRs (test incident system approval)

Experience Requirements

Required

  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

  • In addition, they will have demonstrated the following:

  • Experience in motor vehicle engineering with auto, motorcycle, truck & bus, or agriculture, is preferred

  • Proven technical knowledge and vehicle/system design & development from concept through production launch

  • Understanding of manufacturing processes (ex. casting, molding, machining, fabrication, assembly)

  • General understanding of design tools and process (CAD, GD&T, DFMEA, DVP&R, FEA, etc).

  • Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills through data analysis, root cause analysis, and validation of solution.
