Product Development Specialist

We are looking for a Product Development Specialist to be responsible for creating and developing new products and improving existing products for our Ecommerce business. The candidate should possess proven experience in business development and has interest in outdoor hunting/camping. The responsibilities of a product developer include conducting market research, collaborating with marketing, technical, and manufacturing specialists, and developing prototypes. You will also uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. To excel in this role, applicants should demonstrate great attention to detail with excellent technical knowledge.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

• Should be able to analyze industry trends related to E-bikes and hunting bikes.
• Identify opportunities for new product development based on consumer needs and market gaps.
• Responsible for the investigation and analysis of marketplaces, competitor’s website to find high-quality products and product ideas for selling online channel like amazon/ebay/shopify website or office line channel
• Lead product development projects from concept to production.
• Ensure timely execution, quality control, and adherence to budgets
• Conduct research analysis on a wide range of our products and extract in-depth knowledge about the industry via distributors, affiliates and retailers to position customer portraits.
• Performance Business analysis on selected product category to differentiate our competitive advantages and plan the product development route for future development based on targeted customers
• Organize the product line and prepare corresponding materials, and regularly report product information and development progress to senior team members
• Conduct investigation on existing products, product market in order to independently supplement and expand product lines and formulate and execute development plans for Amazon/eBay/Walmart/Company website
• Help to identify proper suppliers of the target products, optimize the supplier structure; and review the qualifications and conditions of new suppliers;
• Plan for the go-to-market strategy and project manage the whole product from idea to launch by using gantt chart, coordinate other departments to make sure launch smoothly.
• Responsible for the life-time product cycle, constantly updates the product specs/tech according to the market/user feedback.

Qualifications:

Must haves:

• Bachelor degree in STEM or equivalent.
• Familiarity with E-bike components, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Creative mindset about product ideas
• Strong analytical ability
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Must have excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Must have good math and technical skills
• Should possess great communication skills with Global experience

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of hunting bike features, durability, and performance requirements.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

There are prolonged periods of sitting, standing and working at a computer and on the phone with a headset. Traveling may be required.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
