Product Development Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, and dependencies for new product development projects.

• Partner with global operations to provide early warning of delays and strategize appropriate solutions in development plans or processes and provide updated development calendars when necessary

• Identify, anticipate, and manage risks or issues prior to each development milestone, and provide alternate process solutions. Report and escalate potential red flags to management as needed with defined plans and resolutions

• Manage the cross-functional hardware, firmware and mechanical engineering teams' task tracking systems (US & CN), and escalate tasks that are blocked or at risk.

• Facilitate regular catch-up meetings and status updates to ensure alignment on project priorities, resolve conflicts, and address any obstacles impeding progress / meeting deadlines

• Ensure efficient and productive communication / collaboration among cross-functional teams, including the Engineering and Supply Chain teams in China as well as in the US design, marketing, and engagement teams.

• Manage all regulatory and safety compliance and certifications for all products in all regions

• Serve as a central point of contact for all project-related inquiries.

• Leverage feedback and lessons learned to refine or define new processes to enable more efficient project execution.

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in consumer product development, from concept to mass production, ideally in the consumer electronics sector.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands, drive results, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to quickly comprehend complex problems, facilitate team decisions, and coordinate action plans.

• Proficiency in project management tools and softwares.

• Bilingual in English | Mandarin Chinese REQUIRED

• PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
