UNTUCKit is seeking an enthusiastic and self-starting Product Development Manager. The position requires strong communication and organizational skills and an ability to work efficiently and autonomously within a fast-paced environment. This position will be based in our New York office.

  • Daily communication with overseas suppliers to monitor timing of all submits including fabric swatches, proto as well as lab dips, strike-offs
  • Managing the life cycle of all styles in development with Director of product development, including costing
  • Actively facilitate communication between vendors and cross functional teams such as Merchandising, Design, and Technical Design.
  • Building and supporting integral vendor and cross-functional relationships.
  • Regularly meet with Merchants throughout the line building process
  • Closely monitor production schedules, purchase orders and delivery schedules.
  • Evaluate vendor costing and maintain all costing references for best possible pricing.
  • Partnering with internal business partners to ensure adherence to production's time and action calendar deadlines
  • Manage seasonal product development T&A


  • Strong ability to adapt to frequent changes and thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven work environment
    Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments with excellent follow up and follow through skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional teams and overseas factories
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Excel
  • Motivated and enthusiastic, good team player but also must be able to work independently
  • Candidate should have 3-5 years industry experience
  • The individual must also be organized with great attention to detail, great excel skills and be able to meet deadlines
  • Experience in knits & sweaters
  • Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000

The Manager, Product Development will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing process changes and best-in-class business methods, tools and information system across the product development teams. The Manager, Product Development will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the goals of the brands are met. The Manager, Product Development will be expected to approach their role with a high degree of honesty while upholding the brands integrity.</p><p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li><p>Implements sourcing and product development strategy for the category/categories</p></li><li><p>Communicate operations and sourcing requirements for the category/categories to internal partners and external vendors</p></li><li><p>Manage the milestone dates to the Production calendar to assure deadlines to development and sampling process are achieved within required timeframes</p></li><li><p>Partner with cross-functional teams to manage the raw material, color and fit/specification approvals</p></li><li><p>Develop a strong, trusting relationship with cross-functional teams and vendors to enforce on-going communication and to build true partnerships and meet goals</p></li><li><p>Resolve issues regarding product development, cost, delivery, customer, etc.</p></li><li><p>Execute strategies from Sourcing and Technical, Planning, Design and Merchandising teams</p></li><li><p>Implement and oversee the product development cycle, execute preproduction tasks, samples and submits</p></li><li><p>Manage the on order through handover process</p></li><li><p>Negotiate and manage costing based on the seasonal guidance that's been strategized</p></li></ul><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain or a related field</p></li><li><p>4-6 years' experience in two or more categories in a catalog or Retail Apparel Sourcing and Production Environment</p></li><li><p>Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to clearly communicate across a variety of time zones</p></li><li><p>Proven capabilities executing strategy and problem solving with a high level of accountability</p></li></ul><p>FULLBEAUTY Brands™ is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
