POSITION SUMMARY

The Product Development teams are focused on rapidly developing the next generation of percutaneously implanted cardiac pumps, both for acute and long-term patient support. Our team is leading or engaging in the development of the entire system including:

• Pump/catheter/motor

• Access and repositioning sheaths

• On-board sensors / intelligence

• Console, UI, and System performance

• Clinical best practices, training, and pump management techniques

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The student will:

§ Assist in the design of components/fixtures

§ Conduct engineering tests for design improvement

§ Provide input into process development and improvement

§ Conduct failure analyses under mentorship of senior engineering staff

§ Analyze data and present results to larger Engineering team
