About the team:

The XD team is responsible for the user experience and interface design for the Rally digital platform (suite of web and mobile apps). These integrated apps allow a user to easily manage their day-to-day health and healthcare.

Your day to day:

You will joining a design team focused on our personal solutions products. These products provide each user a tailored experience based on their age, gender, health goals, and medical records. Your primary focus as Product Designer will be designing new and updating existing features for these web based experiences.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality, human-focused designs/features/enhancements for web-based platform

  • Maintain a high level of visual fidelity and consistency across all features

  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to define requirements and implement scenarios, interaction models, end-to-end experiences, and communicate out to stakeholders

  • Work collaboratively with Creative Director and Team Lead to ensure strategic vision for each feature

  • Ensure final mockups are pixel perfect prior to development handoff

  • Work with Product Management team to assist in translating business requirements into product/design requirements

  • Ability to be flexible. You will be working with requirements that evolve often.


  • Human-centric approach to designing products

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

  • Exceptional information architecture and interaction design skills

  • Experience building and maintaining design systems

  • Highly proficient in visual design (you'll leverage an existing style guide but there's always room for improvement!)

  • Expert proficiency with Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop (Adobe Creative Suite), and InVision

  • Experience designing for the responsive web

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Basic understanding of front-end development

  • Drive to push the application forward and innovate

  • 3-6+ years of professional web/application/ui experience. Preferably in a design team environment.

  • BA or BFA in design or information architecture related field preferred, but not required

  • Some travel might be required

What You Will Do * Work with a multi-disciplinary team of architects and designers to design graphics, branded environment, signage and wayfinding solutions that connect people to place for diverse client projects. * Conduct research for the organizational, cultural and physical context surrounding a project * Generate multiple initial concepts and develop viable, documented design solutions that help solve a variety of problems for our clients * Integrate messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into two and three-dimensional built environments * Prepare final documentation and production-ready artwork for 3D/EGD, print, or digital applications * Collaborate with clients, design teams and other graphic designers across multiple industries Your Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, environmental design, architecture, visual communication or related field * 2+ years professional experience in environmental graphic design, print/digital design, or similar studio experience * Experience with planning, documentation and management of environmental graphic, wayfinding and signage projects in the context of the built environment * Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and MS Office * Familiarity with architectural construction documents, scales, sections, plans and elevations; proficiency in drawing in scale * Use of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modeling programs a plus * Working knowledge of motion graphics software, digital video editing, or other skills related to designing for and creating dynamic content a plus For consideration, please submit, along with online application, a personal portfolio that contains examples of fully realized and produced graphic project work.
