As a Product Deployment Analyst, your job duties will include implementing streamlined processes for the rollout of multiple types of insurance products. You'll work with different business departments including Underwriting, Claims, Marketing and Advertising to achieve their business goals in terms of delivering new product models to consumers and understanding the impact to new and existing customers.

You will perform product deployment independently and collaboratively, work with cross-functional business and technical teams on business/analytical innovation, support project-related communication and model/analytical process implementation, and perform ad-hoc analytical research.

You will be part of a team that is focused on innovation in the insurance industry: developing new tools, discovering ways to automate and streamline processes, deriving enhanced methodologies and implementing them in order to maximize GEICO's competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Operation Research or related quantitative and analytics fields and a minimum of 2 years analytical work experience.

  • OR

  • Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operation Research or related quantitative and analytics fields

  • Basic MS Office skills

  • Demonstrated skills in Excel, including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets using lookup functions, pivot tables, charts and graphing

  • Understanding of database concepts

  • Ability to learn or basic knowledge of programming languages, statistical software and reporting tools (such as SAS, SQL)

  • Knowledge of insurance rating products and principles

  • Knowledge of Claims, Underwriting, Marketing or Agent Sales

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Preferred Skills:

  • Cloud database knowledge

  • Proficient in SAS, SQL

  • Proficient in R and/or Python

  • Ability to analyze data using statistical, mathematical or data mining methods

  • Experience in process control and project management

Annual Salary

$66,000.00 - $204,500.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
