Product Database Specialist

Position Overview

We are a dynamic and growing organization seeking a detail-oriented Product Database Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date product information within our systems. RESPONSIBILITIES

New Item Set Up:

• Responsible for setting up and maintaining all items in the company operating system catalog, which includes multiple divisions within the company system. Set up requirements will include all style specific details, UPCs, and SKUs, as well as costing.

• Must coordinate with the Product Development team on all the product specific details required for accurate set up and maintenance.

• Responsible for the Company Master Item/UPC Catalog - accuracy is critical. This position is required to assign and maintain all UPCs as well as MSRPs.

Sales Team/Customer Coordination:

• Responsible for Retailers'/Customers' New Item set up requirements

• Our customers have varying requirements for setting up new items into their systems - this position is responsible for ensuring all new item setups are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

• Coordinate with the Sales/Account Management team regarding any item set up and/or changes, including Shopify and other website maintenance.

Skills Required:

• Attention to detail; accuracy is critical

• Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload

• Proficient in Excel with experience in ERP operating systems. NetSuite is a plus but not required.

• Proficient in problem solving; math skills

• Must be a self-starter and function well in a team unit

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• 2-5 years' experience in system set up
