The Role: Product Copy Manager

The marketing team is composed of creative and enthusiastic B2B marketing professionals located around the world.
The Impact: The work you do will drive awareness and advocacy for product advancements. Armed with exceptional copywriting skills, you will be able to translate product and capability descriptions into value statements that will resonate with clients. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams to (1) ensure clients understand what they gain with each product release and to (2) enable our Commercial teams to effectively speak to product investments. You are responsible for delivering compelling, client-ready product copy on tight deadlines and design-thinking for best practices to deliver information and manage related artifacts.

Converting Product-written release notes to client-friendly messaging; partnering with Launch Management to promote traditional release communications within Online Help
Building a "product portal" to encourage continuous learning about enhancements and showcase our investment in product advancements; populating portal with timely updates aligned to product releases, including "next gen release notes", product tips, and videos
Setting release expectations for clients through pre-release communications, utilizing a mix of communication channels: digital, video, etc.
Partnering with relevant internal teams to advise on messaging that can be used to educate Commercial on upcoming enhancements
Partnering with Marketing to insert relevant product advancements to persona-driven campaigns and messaging
Partnering with Client Education to ensure product enhancements are captured in upcoming web trainings
Investigating and recommending new technologies to offer product news and tips within our applications
Reviewing maintenance communications to ensure they are presented from a client-first point of view
Creating, owning and managing the artifacts for in-person client communications around product advancements
Extending product communications by arming Commercial with product talk tracks that address client feedback
BA or MA in English, Literature, Language, Business or related field
Minimum 5+ years in copywriting; B2B marketing, product management, or related fields; financial services industry experience a plus
Deep understanding of personas and workflows in the financial services industry
Proven ability to consume technical subject matter and simplify the message for a less technical audience
Superb communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal with proven experience meeting deadlines in energizing environment
Portfolio of work demonstrating ability to write persuasive, articulate short and long form copy for a number of mediums
Comprehensive proofreading, formatting, and editing skills with precise attention to detail, especially in adhering to a style/voice/grammar guide
