WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Product Content Strategist you will provide support across the product, marketing, sales, and service teams to ensure nursing industry needs are understood and incorporated into the product strategy. The primary responsibility of this position is to support Product Managers and Business Product Owners in the development of products aligned to meet evolving industry needs. This role serves as a business nursing industry expert, assisting with product envisioning, product definition, specification development, and provides guidance in product creation.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

• Serve as industry expert in the business community and provide industry expertise to drive product strategy.

• Integral member of the product team who assists in defining product strategy, product roadmaps, product specifications, soliciting customer and stakeholder feedback, ensuring that product scope and vision are delivered per specifications, and the communication, training, and marketing of new products.

• Build and maintain quality relationships with strategic industry partners, professional organizations, and accrediting bodies.

• Contribute to key industry approach and agenda for events and conferences, and focus groups.

• Development of Educator Implementation materials and interfacing directly with the implementation team for product rollouts.

• Serves as an industry subject matter expert for M&A activities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Master's degree in corresponding industry required, doctoral degree strongly preferred

• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching in an academic setting

• Current RN practice

• Certified nurse educator preferred

• Experience developing product specifications and creating content

• Experience in education using Ascend resources is strongly preferred

• Strong independent worker

• Proficient in summarizing information and providing detailed instruction

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

• Professional writing and publication skills

• Ability to apply principles of adult education while working with nursing faculty

• Current knowledge of issues and trends in nursing practice and nursing education

• Ability to collaborate with a variety of individuals to deliver quality services, promote client satisfaction and secure new business

• High level accountability to team and clients

• Technologically competent with PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and the Internet

• Ability to organize multiple tasks and succeed in a competitive environment

• Flexible and highly adaptable to non-traditional role of nurse educator in the business environment

• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for success in the role
