K2 Advisors Marketing is responsible for bringing to life Franklin Templeton's product offerings in a way that engages investors to take action to invest or to remain invested in our products by creating compelling product stories and content that is leveraged globally. The Content Specialist will be part of the Content Management Team for K2. This team's mission is to optimize, update and maintain the suite of marketing materials that supports the sales process from end-to-end--including fact cards, websites, flyers, pitchbooks, brochures, commentary and other presentations.
The Content Specialist's key responsibilities are oversight and maintenance of marketing materials and building custom presentations. They collaborate with many groups within the Franklin Templeton organization including Content Development, Portfolio Management, Legal/Compliance and Sales/Business Development.
This position provides an excellent foundation for career development within the product marketing area or other related marketing areas.
Success is gauged by timely and high quality delivery of best-in-class marketing materials as well as building productive relationships within the Content Management Team and key business partners.
What is the Product Marketing/Content Specialist responsible for?
Responsible for ensuring the materials are updated in a timely manner, are accurate and meet legal/compliance standards.
Ensure that all materials follow the established approval processes and have the proper compliance and regulatory requirements in place.
Take active role in sharing knowledge regarding new systems, best practices, etc. Propose ways to increase efficiencies.
Establish baseline knowledge of various asset classes and product vehicles offered by the firm.
What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?
Knowledge, Education and Experience Required:
Preferably, 2-3 years of experience in a marketing communications or production role.
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics, business, or marketing.
General knowledge and understanding of various asset classes (equity, fixed income, multi-asset, alternatives).
Experience in adhering to deadlines, multi-tasking, project management, working in a team environment.
Basic understanding of marketing communication strategies.
