Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking for "Product Consultant "; who could join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. Experience 12-14 years of experience in BioInformatics and Research and Development.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret complex biological data to guide product development strategies.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate bioinformatics solutions into our products.

• Provide technical consultation to improve product features and functionalities related to bioinformatics.

• Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in bioinformatics and related fields.

• Translate complex scientific concepts into actionable product enhancements.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions on bioinformatics for non-specialist team members.

• Develop and maintain documentation for bioinformatics processes and product specifications.

• Ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in the bioinformatics domain.

• Evaluate and recommend bioinformatics tools and software for product integration.

• Work closely with the product management team to define product roadmaps and strategies.

• Assist in the design and execution of product testing and validation processes.

• Engage with clients and stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into product improvements.

• Qualifications

• Must have a strong foundation in Bioinformatics with 12 to 14 years of experience.

• Proficiency in Structural Biology & Modelling is highly desirable.

• Experience in OMICS Data Analysis is an added advantage.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.

• Ability to translate technical information into product specifications.

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 -140,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
