Product Compliance Manager - Driving Compliance, Ensuring Excellence

Product Compliance Managers key responsibility will be to ensure that the physical products we create and develop meet the regulatory requirements and standards pertaining to product safety, security as well as other product related compliance areas (e.g., environmental). Your expertise will be the true cornerstone of our success!

Join us at the helm of cross-departmental synergy, where you will support our common and country functions in enhancing our ways of working and documentation processes across the product lifecycles within the CPS Product Areas. As Telia's Product Compliance Manager, you will support our Common and local Product Managers to ensure that all Telia products comply with all legal requirements and standards for all Telia markets, collaborating closely with our legal experts. You task will also be to make sure that all documents are in place and order at the right time to ensure successful and compliant product launches and market success. Your leadership will be crucial in defining a unified way of working with Common and local Product, Legal, and Compliance teams for seamless documentation strategies.

Responsibilities

You will be involved in the following tasks and have the following responsibilities:

• Support our Common Product Managers and local Product Managers in new product development projects and product maintenance, to ensure that products are designed, manufactured and placed on the market in accordance with the regulatory requirements, standards and certifications relevant for our products and markets

• Ensure and support that safety and other compliance requirements are met, e.g., requirements pertaining to labeling, packaging, documentation, user manuals and instruction booklets

• Compile and maintain technical files, by developing and maintaining a portal/ database of all active compliances

• Coordinate and track on-ongoing product testing and certification with third party labs or via Telia supplier

• Cooperate with Legal in identifying and monitoring worldwide regulatory development within relevant fields

• Monitor RAPEX

• Keep relevant stakeholders in product management proactively informed about any developments or changes in relevant legislation, standards and certifications

• Take part in product compliance Risk Assessments projects to spot and quantify safety and compliance risks and develop mitigation plans

• Support the investigation and problem solving for safety or compliance issues

• Contribute to creation of policies and processes

• Support sales, communications/marketing and customer service with their compliance queries

Your Experience

You are familiar with these areas:

• Product compliance legislation (e.g., General Product Safety Regulation, REACH, RED, WEEE, ROHS, PPWD, Battery Regulation etc.) as well as its implementation via harmonized standards and certifications. Blue Guide

• Telco/Media and ICT portfolios and main technical/business drivers and obstacles

• Knowledge in different product and service development methodologies such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ITIL

• Experience from Product Management, Operations and Customer Deliveries

• Tools from leading SW-vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Atlassian i.e. Jira, Qlik sense etc.)

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

• University degree or similar higher education
