Assembly workers use staple guns, glue, wood screws, and other materials to build the frames on which our furniture is built. The frame foundation for a completed piece of lounge furniture is critical to success.
This position begins as a full-time regular team member working 40-50 hour per week with approved overtime. Eligibility for 401(K) retirement, employee activities, Flexible Work/Life Balance, Bonus Incentive Plans, Employee Wellness Incentives, Holiday Pay and Paid Time Off from 1st day of employment. Assembly workers will learn a range of skills including:
Building furniture frames from raw wood materials
Use of air tools including staple guns, grinding wheels and drivers
Trainees must be able to perform the basic functions of the job: (Basic Requirements)
Lifting up to 40 pounds regularly throughout the course of an 8-10 hr work shift
Operation of air tools including staple guns, grinders and drivers
Standing on concrete for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day
Assemblers should have:
Flexibility to work overtime as needed including weekends
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and maneuver as needed
Work at a productive, self-paced rate
6 months of work experience is required with 6 months or more of manufacturing experience in a production environment is preferred
Previous experience working with raw wood products using air driven staple and nail guns is preferred
