Job Description Summary:

PayPal, Inc. seeks Product Analyst in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Partner with stakeholders on user growth to build and help PayPal improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.

Conduct rigorous exploratory data analysis, create executive-facing automated dashboards, and collaborate on building business cases that drive decision-making and product roadmap prioritization. Synthesize large volumes of data with attention to granular details and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Define Key Performance Metrics (KPIs) to measure product and initiative performances.

Monitor KPIs throughout project checkpoints using data mining and data visualization tools to monitor portfolio performance and identify improvement opportunities. Improve key metrics over time using A/B testing for data extracted from market research, and usability studies to drive product decisions and requirements. Provide strategic and tactical guidance on specific data elements that need to be tracked to enable tracking of metrics and assess user behavior. Define and cultivate best practices in analytics instrumentation and experimentation.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Science, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a data/product analyst, or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1.Using SQL to extract data from databases for various analysis and deep dives.

2.Using Python to automate and scale data models and create forecast for key KPIs.

3.Using A/B Testing to understand the performance of key product initiatives and their effectiveness.

4.Using Tableau to visualize and automate key reports and trends.

5.Using Statistical Analysis to further solidify key findings and understand effectiveness of key product initiatives.

6.Using Product Management to understand the various needs of the customers.

Additional Job Description:

Base Salary: $140,000 - 204,600 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
