Product Analyst

OneMain Financial has launched a new Credit Cards business based in Charlotte, NC. The Cards business operates like a startup with the full backing of OneMain Financial. The Cards team is small and growing fast, having just launched its first MVP and quickly iterating to create a multi-product portfolio.

We are hiring a Product Analyst who will report to the Head of Product. The role will have two core responsibilities. The first will be to manage development and execution of customer acquisition materials. The second will be to take over some of the practicalities or running a growing business, including contract and invoice management, and coordination of core team meetings and routines. Based on interest, there will also be an opportunity to lead development of new features using Agile-based methodology, as well as receive training in process mapping, a critical area of focus in a growing team. This will be a growth opportunity, ideal for someone interested in learning about many facets of a growing business and who is not afraid to try new things.

We are a remote-first company, although this role is preferably Charlotte-based to enable close partnership with development and analytics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage execution of materials use to drive direct mail and affiliate (Credit Karma, LendingTree) customer acquisition

• Support Product Lead in managing the "stuff" that keeps a business going: invoices, contracts, planning sessions, securing legal and compliance approvals, etc.

• Once up-and-running, partner with design and engineering teams to develop new features and functionality for the credit card

Essential Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience

• Able to get things done quickly and effectively, while balancing business objectives and quality

• Able to properly determine scope, key milestones, objectives, and dependencies of a project

• Technically proficient to communicate with and support engineers effectively

• Comfortable working cross-functionally in an agile environment

• Able to think critically and independently

• Passionate, nimble and curious
