Job Overview:

The Analyst role will be a member of the Investor and Investment Services (IIS) Product team focused on supporting the development, maintenance, and ongoing lifecycle of technology tools/capabilities. The role is a support function to the work LPL leads to build and implement new technology and business process solutions. This position will manage the logistics of the product development lifecycle, including writing formal business requirements, supporting product/project management work administratively and communicating across cross-functional teams within the organization.

The role will work collaboratively with many stakeholders - every product will have unique aspects and requires a candidate to be able to think analytically and anticipate needs. Collaboration with internal business and technology partners will be critical to ensure that these capabilities are delivered in a manner that delights our clients, maximizes our business objectives, and meets all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating product roadmap with product management team.

  • Provide project management support by tracking project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement based on product data. Generate regular reports for stakeholders and provide insights to inform decision-making.

  • Perform market research to understand industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer preferences. Translate findings into actionable recommendations for product strategy.

  • Conduct user experience (UX) research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather feedback and improve the overall user experience of our products.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed product requirement documents (PRDs) or user stories for new features or enhancements.

  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and workflows and propose solutions for streamlining operations and enhancing productivity.

  • Analyze customer support tickets, feedback forums, and reviews to identify common issues and opportunities for product improvement. Prioritize feature requests and bug fixes based on customer needs.

  • Develop training materials and documentation for internal teams or external users to ensure effective use of our products and delivery of our services.

  • Assist in quality assurance (QA) testing of new features or product releases, identifying bugs, usability issues, and edge cases that require attention.

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions to brainstorm new product ideas, define long-term goals, and prioritize initiatives based on business objectives and market opportunities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, or product management roles.

  • 2+ years experience with Contact Center operation.

Preferences

  • Experience building presentations in PowerPoint and for an executive audience.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.

  • Experience conducting market research and user experience research.

Pay Range:

$63,920-$95,880/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
