Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair and operation products, is searching for a Product Analyst in our Information Technology department for our Columbus, Ohio location.

This role will be responsible to work on a team with an agile scrum environment within our Korber team. You will be responsible to work with internal and external teams to compile user stories that define the goals, outcomes, and desired experiences of proposed projects. As a Product Analyst, you will ensure testing is well defined, planned, and executed by creating end-to-end testing plans, executing them, and seeing the projects all the way through completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or comparable experience in business analysis/project management.

  • Preferably a minimum 3 years' experience in Business or Systems Analysis or related disciplines in the Wholesale Distribution or MRO industries.

  • Agile experience is a plus.

  • Experience within Korber or another WMS is preferred.

  • Experience with project management including how to work with deadlines and how to estimate the duration of a project.

  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers to interpret business requirements.

  • Demonstrated soft skills, including experience in facilitation, diplomacy, and conflict resolution.

  • Ability to effectively communicate cross-organizationally and work well in a small team, fast-paced environment.

  • A highly motivated, well-organized, self-starter desiring an opportunity to grow both technically and professionally.

  • This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be responsive and persuasive at all levels of the organization. Superior ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, managers, sales representatives, and members of the general public in both written and verbal form.
