The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Product Analyst you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Collaborating with the Product Owners and customer to define software requirements and test cases for application features and reporting

  • Create and maintain product documentation for internal and external stakeholders, including training materials, user guides, release notes and reporting

  • Triage development and QA tickets based on business and customer priorities

  • Supports efforts related to customer and sales execution

  • Willingness to travel as required in support of customer and sales activity

  • Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M's values and ethical standards.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in healthcare in lieu of the Bachelor's degree education requirement

  • Two (2) years of experience working in healthcare provider or payer sector

  • Two (2) years of experience working with software application development

  • Two (2) years of experience in strategic business management and/or product marketing

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master's degree in health information systems (HIS), health policy, or hospital administration

  • Preferred 4+ years of combined experience working with software application development

  • Preferred 4+ years of combined experience in strategic business management and/or product marketing

  • Understanding and familiarity with the US health care industry

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies

  • Familiarity with the US health care reimbursement methodologies - inpatient, outpatient, and risk adjustment

  • Project management experience

Location: 3M HIS office locations (Pittsburgh, PA or SLC, UT) or remote would be considered

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Overtime is mandatory depending on business needs. This could include weekends!!</strong></p><p><strong>DUTIES</strong><br /></p><ul><li>Reviews and analyze regularly the Just-in-time (JIT) customer order. </li><li>Responsible for all inventory tracking / analysis, modeling for over /short conditions, inbound material tracking, and reporting to internal customers and back to all of the manufacturing plants. </li><li>Monitors the inventory status at the JIT customers and makes recommendations for the disposition of excess and obsolete parts, periodically.</li><li>Prepares JIT daily production and shipping schedule.</li><li>Coordinate closely with Inventory Control and Quality on availability of parts.</li><li>Monitors and tracks material inventories, production progress, and other factors that affect schedules.</li><li>Modifies and adapts production schedules and issues order changes to accommodate revisions, cancellations, or priorities.</li><li>Interfaces with all appropriate departments/staff in schedule creation, progress updates, problem analysis, and corrective action recommendations.</li><li>Prepares all required reports, paperwork, and correspondence.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>This position will also be responsible for the following</strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Position will be handling the customer service relations</li><li>Strong communication skills. Be able to communicate with customers via phone, email, and face to face</li><li>Be able to communicate with the suppliers regarding shipments &amp; inventory</li><li>Position will handle daily ordering from customers</li><li>Position will need to be able to build and analyze company reports </li><li>Position will handle daily/weekly ordering of replacement parts </li><li>Basic Excel Skills with the need to be able to build &amp; maintain reports in excel</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><ul><li>College degree preferred. </li><li>Two years related experience or equivalent preferred.</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage priorities and workflow.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills.</li><li>Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience in MfgPro.</li><li>Automotive experience in customer service or its equivalent within a distribution environment.<br /></li></ul><p><strong>PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: </p><ul><li>Calculate figures and amounts.</li><li>Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Understand and respond to a diverse population.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><ul><li>A large percentage of work time is spent in the office.
