Our Commercial Lines Product Management Department is seeking three Commercial Product Analyst who specializes in the Property, Marine, General Liability and Management Liability Line of Business or has a strong multiline background.Product Analysts are responsible for multiple larger projects and accountable for reporting on and delivering progress within Line of Business/Product functions. Successful Product Analyst will possess subject matter expertise, intellectual curiosity, originality and ingenuity to execute on assignments.
- Assists and supports Product Mangers during the Product Development Life Cycle of the Product Line of Business from Market requirements to Product release including: concept, scope, specifications, prioritization, Product Architecture, implementation, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, deployment and maintenance. Conducts baseline work with limited assistance from a more experienced Product Analyst or Manager.
Assists with varying complexity Form Drafting/Product Development in line with the construct of the Product Architecture. Assists in developing solutions and action plans to address opportunities related to projects and products with guidance from the Product Manager. Participates in the delivery of strategic products and projects including structuring the project, planning the project scope, resources and budget; assess risk and issues; reporting status and working to limit/control change through firm upfront research and solid product strategy.
Independently manage low to moderately complex projects; understand business objectives as they relate to project goals. Assists with proactive research, provide analysis and recommendations for implementation of new Product ideas. Contributes to the evaluation of the competitive landscape to ensure sustainability of existing Products and makes Product recommendations to improve competitiveness.
Responsible for decision making on low complexity regulatory issues and collaborates with Product Managers on medium to high complexity issues. Responsible for ISO/NCCI, regulatory, compliance, and Circular Management with guidance from Manager and Product Managers. Responsible for Product Customer Inquiries (Rating Mailbox, SC Blog, MM Blog, etc.) Responsible for Customer Documentation, and external facing systems management. (IBank, SharePoint, Etc.) In collaboration with Product Managers.Assists in developing and delivery of information for training and Product promotion to internal and external audiences.
Collaborates with Lead Product Analyst in the first level requirements development, with guidance from Manager and Product Manager. Works independently on the development of functional requirements with cross functional teams, including IT, to launch products into production. Works independently on the Product RMPO process for aligned LOB.
Works independently in the Automation, Testing, Execution and Defect Resolution Processes and Strategies. Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors Degree required. 5-8 years of Product Management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong Influencing and Decision Making Skills Superior interpersonal skills Excellent analytical skills Ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders Demonstrated In-Depth Product knowledge
