Description

Together with researchers, clinicians, engineers, designers, advocates, and volunteers, we're collaborating to design the next generation of healthcare tools and services. Verily's Clinical Research business is focused on transforming evidence generation within clinical research. Our portfolio of solutions is focused on: 1) participant engagement to optimize and diversify participant recruitment and retention, 2) longitudinal registries and communities to support the continuous evaluation of medical products, 3) a software platform and services portfolio to support participant and data centric clinical trials, and 4) digital biomarkers for generating new types of data and insights.

In this Product Analyst role for Clinical Research, you will be concentrating on supporting analysis and reporting needed for our trials and registries. You will become an expert on metrics and measurement of our trials and registries during conduct, building reports and dashboards to visualize these metrics. You will own analytics oversight of specific studies and registries, helping internal teams and external clients understand them. You may also dive into long term engagement and retention within longitudinal registries, and help us understand product performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop analysis and reporting for Clinical Research focusing on recruitment, clinical operations, participant engagement and product usage.

  • Create and manage SQL pipelines and dashboards to visualize study funnel goals for internal leadership and external partners, including comparisons to key benchmarks.

  • Work with partners across product, operations, and clinical data to define key metrics, build insightful dashboards, and provide analyses during trial and registry conduct.

  • Own analytical projects from start to finish, partnering with cross-functional teams to provide data driven, actionable insights.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Verily data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent working experience and 4+ years of equivalent practical experience in an analytical function.

  • Experience working to turn partner questions into analyses and using data and analysis to arrive at a recommendation or answer.

  • Experience creating dashboards and working with BI tools (Tableau and Looker a plus).

  • Strong SQL skills.

  • Experience with statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish solid relationships with cross-functional teams.

  • Experience related to healthcare or research.

  • Experience with DBT.

  • Strong interest in life sciences, medical device, and technology industries.

  • Startup mentality: nimble, able to navigate ambiguity, excited to pitch in across different analytics domains.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,000 - $155,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
