We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Product Analyst with an unwavering 'can-do' attitude to join the Firm Management Product team. As a part of the Firm Management Product team you will contribute to the design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and enhancement of Firm Management products. This position requires an individual who can successfully work in a dynamic environment where priorities change based on continually evolving business needs. Our iterative approach to development processes require a professional with excellent adaptability and communication skills.
Product Analysts Responsibilities
Maintain a customer focus that enables deep understanding of customer pain points and ability to articulate the product vision to the project team
Produce various levels of complex documentation, such as product requirements, content plans, functional designs, user interface specifications, test plans, and user documentation
Work closely with software engineers to implement design decisions
Translate product road map into manageable product backlog
Manage, adjust for risk, and prioritize product backlog (with input from product owner and product manager)
Be available for team in all the Scrum ceremonies
Differentiate and understand the relationship between product, technology, and project management
Become familiar with the organizational development practices, platform requirements, and project management framework
Liaise with product owner and product manager to establish a shared understanding of the features and changes in product requirements and support the release planning and sprint planning exercises
Communicate on an ongoing basis with our Product Support teams
Test Firm Management products to ensure quality
Unyielding attention to detail
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate and brainstorm with developers, other departments, and product users in a highly dynamic environment
Strong planning and time management skills, with a proven track record of managing multiple concurrent projects with time sensitive milestones
Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and guidance to achieve established goals and objectives
Must be able to work flexibly, including over-time when needed
Practical knowledge of Windows and/or Web systems and user interface design guidelines.
Strong technical aptitude for learning and understanding technology and tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to effectively present to groups outside of Product
Ability to deliver high quality work on time in a high-energy, high-stress environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience testing, supporting, or developing products a plus
Preferred experience in Agile Scrum, Agile Development Methodology focusing on daily scrum, planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and consistently improving maturity in agile practices
Working knowledge of software development methodology and software industry experience a plus
