Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) is looking for an Associate and Experienced Product Acceptance Specialist (Level B & C) to support for 787 VFIN onloading team in West Jordan, Utah.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Verifies routine product conformance to design requirements.

  • Provides objective evidence of results.

  • Performs auditing, surveillance and monitoring.

  • Identifies and documents discrepancies.

  • Segregates and controls non-conforming items.

  • Performs preliminary review and disposition of non-conformance.

  • Conducts product review with customer during product or process verification.

  • Identifies repetitive or significant non-conformances and initiates requests for corrective action.

  • Willing and able to work a 1st or 2nd shift schedule as required

  • Composites 4x10 Monday

  • Thursday (1st: typically, 4:45am

  • 3:30 pm; 2nd typically 3:30 pm

  • 2am).

  • Metals 5x8 (1st: typically, 6:45am
  • 3:30 pm; 2nd typically 3:30 pm

  • 12pm).

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality or experience in a regulated industry.

  • Ability to work a 1st or 2nd shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience interpreting blueprints and engineering specifications.

  • Experience with verifying routine product conformance to design requirements.

  • Experience identifying non-conformances.

  • Experience working with/in Common Manufacturing Execution Systems (CMES).

  • CMM experience.

  • PC DMIS experience.

Typical Education/Experience:

Associate (Level B): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Experienced (Level C): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate + 2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate: $46,750 - $63,250

Summary pay range for Experienced: $53,550 - $72,450
