Position includes personal production, building and coaching a mortgage sales team. Responsible for recruiting and training, of new mortgage loan officers. Adherence to compliance standards and other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Personal production and maintaining relationships with builders, realtors, financial planners.
Build relationships and cross sell opportunity with Bank personnel and branches.
Look for opportunities for growth.
Train and develop loan officers on a one-on-one basis of activities related to the position.
Coach individual loan officers in the skills of conducting sales meetings and calling procedures with realtors.
Hold timely sales/training meetings for loan officers to provide ongoing reinforcement and training.
Prepare and updated timely reporting of production, goals achieved, commissions and other related activities.
Monitor and report progress of loan officers on activities related to shared goals with other business partners.
Provide timely communication with Regional Management staff on activities of individual lending area.
Directly supervises two to eight employees in the Mortgage Lending Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Other duties as required.
Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in Bank policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
Must be willing to register and maintain registry with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and comply with SAFE Act requirements.
