WLTV Miami is looking for a dynamic, experienced, outgoing and creative Producer, to lead the team and guide the daily production of informational/entertaining shows with respect to content, process and quality, creating, leading and organizing content utilizing strong editorial, entertainment, communication and organizational skills. This position executes the vision and objectives of News and Sales Departments for the show.
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce daily show with entertaining, informational and news segments, and sales integrations for a multiplatform distribution.
Crafting segments including stacking, writing, editing copy, in-studio moves, and ordering graphics.
Coordinate live shots with directors, production staff and reporters.
Lead the process from the control room during live and pre-recorded broadcasts, remotes, continuous coverage and breaking news situations.
Responsible for products content and style.
Use Social Media tools daily to enhance and promote products and talent.
Be a leader, facilitating teamwork of staff members.
Develop original ideas, determine potential guests and book them.
Work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends and evenings.
Manage day-to-day operations of show production teams including staffing needs.
Ensures that produced content adheres to editorial standards and legal compliance.
Effectively anticipates needs and plan accordingly.
Maintains the creative vision and "look and feel" of the show.
Ensures fulfillment of show templates, style, concept and structure.
Works with Sales to explore and create new revenue opportunities.
Works with research to discover opportunities for improvement in ratings and serving the audience.
Required Skills and Experience
A college degree in Journalism, Radio/Television or related field from accredited University required. Master's Degree preferred.
Minimum of three years' experience producing a daily entertainment/news show in a medium to large TV market required. Longer experience preferred.
Experience in producing talk shows, interviews/panel shows, and news magazines is a plus.
Candidate should also have booking experience.
Excellent and grammatically accurate Spanish language skills both written and oral - required. Bilingual - fluency in English and Spanish is required.
Digital audio/video editing equipment and/or non-linear editing systems, AVID preferred.
Ample knowledge of television production, equipment and computer systems required.
Working knowledge of INEWS.
Proficiency in all aspects of social media.

Ample knowledge of current events.
Ability to do line production of full show, with format, guests headlines, full screens, banners etc.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, with a proven record of success as a leader.
Effective writing ability for all platforms.
Must be highly motivated, aggressive, and results-oriented, with strong organization and motivational skills.
Ability to identify problems and develop solutions.
Must be able to perform well under pressure, manage breaking news situations, meet strict deadlines, and respond quickly to changes.
Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision is a must
Basic knowledge of content regulations, quality and compliance standards.
Ability to establish priorities and anticipate needs of the team.
