Job Summary
Maintain all producer and distribution entity information for all relationships with the Company. Update producer contracting, state producer appointment and comp systems in accordance with Regulatory and Compliance guidelines. Continuously training, learning the business, increasing competencies within the department's scope.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Process licensing and appointments for all distribution channels.
Process queue work related to producer contracting (adds and terminations), state producer appointments, routine compensation/payroll inquiries, etc.
Manage systems input to reflect contract upgrades, downgrades, terminations, producer appointment additions, renewals and terminations.
Assist with the electronic transmission of compensation data to producer groups, including electronic data feed layouts and commission reports.
Understand and articulate state regulations related to contracts, selling agreements and state appointment guidelines.
Understand, apply and articulate the basics of compensation in accordance with financial control procedures and continue to learn and improve individual skills.
Maintain relationships with internal and external customers.
Field phone calls and manage call work/research.
Maintain the integrity of the licensing, contracting, and comp systems to ensure conformity to Company policies and compliance with outside regulatory agencies and stay within Phoenix budgetary guidelines.
Assist with training in areas of expertise.
Support Audits and Regulatory Examinations within areas of expertise.
Must maintain appropriate attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates knowledge of the host systems and Microsoft applications
Effective problem-solving skills to research issues using appropriate references and resources
Skill and ability to grasp and learn new concepts and technologies

Knowledge of state regulations and company standards relating to licensing
Demonstrates knowledge of the compensation systems
Skill in written and oral communication for interpreting client requests and giving and receiving feedback
Knowledge of state regulations and Company standards relating to licensing, contracting, and compensation of producers
Assists in handling special projects as needed
Shows knowledge in researching/troubleshooting complex items
Communicates opinions, makes observations, draws conclusions and communicates ideas effectively within the department
