Assist with scheduling, supervision of Team Members as well as with the day-to-day flow of the department. Maintain attractive Produce displays and support the regional Produce vision. Support the Produce Team Leader and Associate Team Leader(s) to ensure smooth operation of the Produce Team. Ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner. Surprise and delight the customers with consistent, delicious food.

  • Help train Team Members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover as delegated by Team Leader and Associate Team Leader

  • Establish and maintain a positive work environment that supports a high Team Member morale.

  • Follow and comply with all organic standards procedures as they relate to cutting, preparing, displaying, and storing produce products.

  • Communicate and maintain Team Member safety and security standards.

  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Produce Team Members.

  • Assist in training of new Team Members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.

  • Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.

  • Support national, regional, and store programs.

  • Responds promptly to customer needs and questions and requests assistance when necessary, including answering the store phone system.

  • Open and close department according to established procedures.

  • Assist with sampling program by keeping sample areas full, clean, and appealing and by sampling products directly to customers.

  • Oversee team and resolve difficult customer situations.

  • May assist with interviewing

  • Determine break schedule and ensure all necessary breaks are given.

  • Communicate team concerns to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.

  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.

  • Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team

  • Extensive knowledge of Produce Team procedures and policies

  • Extensive knowledge of produce and floral products and our quality standards

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

The Chief Engineer will manage general and preventative maintenance functions to ensure guest service and sustainability standards are achieved and maintained throughout the hotel structure. Essential Job Functions * Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates, ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards. * The Chief Engineer will conduct room inspections and identify repair needs. * Manage and coordinate bids, quotes and contracts for 3rd party vendors. * Oversee small projects, or PIPS, and manage and report on the work progress. * Install or repair sheet rock and other wall coverings. * Paint designated areas and items. * The Chief Engineer will install and replace basic electrical fixtures. Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures. * Install, replace, and program televisions. * Perform minor plumbing functions. * Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps as well as preventative maintenance on units. * Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment. * Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis and complete work orders as necessary; keep accurate records of PM's on all rooms and equipment. * The Chief Engineer will maintain the building exterior and "curb appeal" of entire hotel grounds * Refurbish, paint and finish furniture and fixtures as needed. * Test, examine, and maintain hotel's life safety systems to ensure they are 100% operational at all times. * Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records and coordinate compliance of service contracts. * Perform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codes. * The Chief Engineer will be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. * Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to IHG's Green Engage. * Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow SDS and OSHA standards. * Perform other duties as requested by management. * Love the look and quality presentation of all hotel facilities, be detail oriented, preferably with facility maintenance experience. * Be incredibly friendly, customer centric, love to smile and have FUN in a team environment. * Two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing plus five (5) years' work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services for a hotel or hotels. Needs experience in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.). Specialization in these trades is required. An ability to advance knowledge in these areas is essential. * Certification and/or License Requirement: Professional certification and licensure if required by law. Minimum Type III EPA Certification for refrigerant reclamation and charging. * Supervises and assists engineering staff in maintaining and repairing fire and life safety systems, room equipment, HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, kitchen appliances, refrigeration equipment, pool equipment, lighting, laundry equipment and other systems/equipment as directed. * Performs skilled repair and maintenance operations using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, etc. * Responds quickly to guest requests/complaints in a friendly manner. Relays appropriate requests or complaints to appropriate subordinate or manager. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction. * Completes training regarding safety, security, department procedures and service guidelines. Conducts training of co-workers and subordinates as required. * Meets with vendors and suppliers to discuss scope of work, and products and materials used in, repair activities. * Manages or assists in hiring, firing, training, assisting with career development and performance evaluations for maintenance staff. * Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day. * Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all local, state and federal laws. * Supervise and train all Engineering staff in Customer Service, Empowerment, Standard Operating Procedures and Loss Prevention. * Create and post all Engineering staffs schedules. * Create and implement preventative maintenance program for all hotel equipment. * Ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). * Assist with the administration of all vendor contracts controlled by the engineering department. * Ensure that room maintenance requests are handled in a prompt and courteous manner. * Follow up on all alarms immediately to determine the exact location and cause. Determine emergency status and report findings to Front Desk.
