RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Produce Manager in Training, your responsibilities will primarily include assisting the Produce Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department and other assignments as deemed appropriate.

Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support Produce Manager in attaining financial and qualitative benchmarks for the department, including sales and margin targets;

  • Work with staff to lead daily stocking, merchandising, and department housekeeping;

  • Provide remarkable service and knowledge to customers;

  • Bag and carry purchases to our customers cars as needed.

DUTIES As a produce focused team member, your responsibilities will primarily include assisting Produce Management in the day-to-day operations of the department and other assignments as deemed appropriate. Specific tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: * Trim, stock, rotate, and maintain produce in accordance with company standards * Provide remarkable service and knowledge to customers * Department housekeeping * Bag and carry purchases to our customers' cars * Cross-train between departments, and help wherever needed throughout the store * Work with Produce and Store Management to maintain a pleasant environment for customers and coworkers * Know and support MOM's culture - Mission/Purpose, Core Values, and Promise to Customers Requirements QUALIFICATIONS An applicant who is a good fit for our produce department, will meet the following qualifications: * Detail-oriented, while also able to work at a fast pace * Able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings- as early as 4am and as late as 10pm. * Able to work on a team and enjoy pitching in to get the job done * Available to work early morning shifts with flexible scheduling and reliable transportation * Able to be on your feet for an extended period of time * Able to repeatedly pick up at least 50lbs on a daily basis If you meet these qualifications, we want to hear from you!
