It is the primary responsibility of the Procurement Systems Coordinator to support the Global Procurement organization by administering key aspects of new and existing procurement systems related to master data, catalog enablement and ordering templates, supplier setup, contract setup and customer support. This position is responsible for day-to-day operational execution of multiple processes surrounding suppliers, catalogs, and internal customer support, and also facilitates company automation objectives and procurement best practices. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

  • Manage key processes related to e-procurement systems such as supplier enablement and catalogs.

  • Troubleshoot master data setup/other system issues as well as interface between the e-procurement system and other systems.

  • Respond to internal and external inquiries and provide exemplary customer support to end users and suppliers.

  • Coach users and suppliers to enhance system and process knowledge and ensure compliance to policies.

  • Guide suppliers through the setup and on boarding process to maximize electronic transactions.

  • Log customer support requests and follow issues through to completion.

  • Support special projects such as new property openings and rollout of new system functionality.

  • Support training efforts surrounding current and future system enhancements.

  • Use various tools to evaluate system metrics such as spend, compliance to invoicing, catalog vs. non-catalog usage, etc.

  • Create miscellaneous reports as needed to support decision making.

  • Perform other job related duties as requested.


  • At least 2 years of experience in a supply chain management role, e.g. purchasing, sourcing, or a related field.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  • Previous systems experience in Stratton Warren, Infinium and/or Coupa.

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.

Minimum Qualifications: • Must possess a working knowledge of renewable energy, energy efficiency in sales and marketing * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Must possess a valid state driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. * Excellent sales / customer service. * Ability to work efficiently and timely. * Superior written and oral business communication skills. * Basic knowledge of utility requirements for interconnection of solar PV systems. * Must complete a pre-employment drug screen and DMV check MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.Development and implementation of strategic purchasing plans for the solar division. Coordinate, design and implement all purchasing of materials and associated information. 2.Functions consist of coordinating with vendors/consultants/subcontractors on getting quotes, preparing purchase orders / contract agreements, researching new products. 3.Prospect and develop commercial and industrial product offerings. 4.Inventory tracking and reporting. 5.Manage vendor and accounts payable expectations by tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and payments. 6.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are being meet. 7.Provide recommendations and actions based on strategic objectives, forecast or performance metrics. 8.Enhance and manage data protocols required for data analysis and reporting to Division Manager for strategic and tactical decisions Key Skills & Competencies • Must possess a working knowledge with Microsoft Office products (primarily Excel and Word) * Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. * Must be dependable and maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. * Strong analytical and problem solving skills. * Excellent personable skills to build and nurture relationships. * Computer skills, including Word and Excel. * Ability to understand high level-strategies, translate them into systems and process requirements, and ensure execution and business impact. * Analytical and demonstrated ability to extract key business insights through data analysis. * Ability to manage multiple projects. * Demonstrated experience in project management. * Ability to travel 20% of the time. * Procurement experience in the Construction Industry preferred. * Work safely at all times and takes action in preventing any and all unsafe acts, situations and behaviors Additional Information Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen required.
