Overview Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds aerostructures for both commercial and defense customers. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities: Key member of a team responsible for synchronizing the supply chain to procure goods and services for the company. Interfaces with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality parts. Acts as an authorized agent of the company, managing supplier-related activities and committing company resources through contracts, agreements, and purchase orders. Develops requests for quotations and proposals, analyzes supplier responses, negotiates contracts, and manages post-award supplier activities. Manages inventory levels, purchase orders, and supplier performance. Monitors customer inventory demand and material assets to optimize total supply chain planning. Qualifications Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related field High School Diploma or GED Preferred Skills: Data-driven and analytically minded, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies. Advanced Excel skills Proficiency in Office 365/Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. MRP Systems knowledge, SAP experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience High-energy, dynamic personality with the ability to drive change and improvement. Knowledge and experience within the aerospace or manufacturing industries is a plus.
