We are expanding our business by offering revolutionary energy systems to residential customers including ESS, MLPE(power optimizers, micro-inverters), EV charging solutions, and Smart IoT with world-class software solutions.

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for internal procurement processes, assisting senior leadership with our procurement strategy, and aligning the policies and procedures of Qcells' Business Support Division.

Please note: this role is Hybrid 2 days a week in one of our 2 offices- Santa Clara or San Francisco.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the ESS(Energy storage system) procurement of materials and/or samples, services;

  • Manage costs using commodity management approach, and foster collaboration with development teams;

  • Institute vendor qualification through Quality, Delivery and Cost criteria, and monitor on-going performance through monthly business reviews;

  • Manage order process for suppliers and other related contract management processes;

  • Negotiate MSA (Master Supply/Service Agreement) disputed items with suppliers to minimize financial risk as well as maximize project profitability;

  • Support Managers in contract negotiations with Vendors & Suppliers;

  • Develop and maintain a working database of all materials, suppliers, products, etc., tracking history of project costs, schedules, and scope (lessons learned);

  • Collaborate with team members when necessary to ensure effective communication and results;

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Between 1-3 years of experience in procurement.

  • Preferred experience in a Manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and in support of project schedules and other deadlines

  • Experience in conducting supplier reviews and evaluation, and maintaining good business relationships

  • SAP Experience preferred

$72,505 - $89,565 a year
