KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Operations and Finance teams to meet company process, performance, and communication expectations
Work closely with management and stakeholders of multiple groups to become familiar with MTG product lines and associated supplier options
Develop and maintain relationships with multiple suppliers to meet operational, financial, and strategic objectives as directed by management
Evaluate quotations, select and recommend suppliers and negotiate price, delivery, quality, service, and terms and conditions
Execute purchases, complying with corporate policies and procedures and underlying federal, state, and local regulations concerning the purchase of shipment of goods, materials, and services
Utilize MTGs ERP system and supplier-specific systems to create and track purchase orders throughout their entire lifecycle
Approve invoices from suppliers
Work with the project team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products
Effectively research, track, and resolve (or appropriately refer) accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Provide effective and timely communication to stakeholders regarding procurement processes and statuses
Facilitate necessary communication between suppliers and MTG personnel as needed
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills with all stakeholders
Maintain data integrity of company software system
Maintain confidentiality relating to source documents, data, and reports
Occasionally assist in the warehouse
Assume other related duties as required or assigned
Minimum two (2) years of related experience
Strong understanding of how supply chain, inventory management, and finance interact and their importance to the financial wellbeing of the company
