JOB SUMMARY: Primary focus is in the purchasing the best quality equipment products and services at best total cost of ownership prices based on business needs. Supports and coordinates multi-component office project purchases. Supports Bid Manager as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None
Processes daily/weekly cycle of release purchase requisition into POs, and expedite as needed
Manages and maintain parts and pricing information in JDE
Works closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues and identify root cause and corrective action
Monitor and communicate delivery dates and backorder items
Closes Purchasing Order timely
Supports procurement needs and opportunities at local, regional, and enterprise levels
Supports requests for proposals
Coordinate phased/complete rollouts at local, regional, or national levels for new vendors
Identifies and maintains relationships with MWBE vendors, according to enterprise procurement needs and budgets, to optimize enterprise-wide MWBE spend
Performs critical coordinating and logistics role in supporting storm personnel with lodging and supplies
Supports bidding process by coordinating and gathering information coming from other departments
Supports Bid Manager with Customer requests
Request bid performance bonds as needed
5 years of procurement or related experience in a business enterprise with domestic markets.

Experience executing procurement best practices
