This position supports a high volume global supply chain team within the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Business Area. Specifically, the role will support Supply Chain data analytics projects and supplier strategy efforts within RMS business area.
The successful candidate will be a valued member of our buyer team and duties include, but not limited to: 1) managing the procurement process for the electrical commodities team. Managing supply chain competitions - identifying vendors, proposal analysis, contract negotiation, contract execution, performance monitoring and invoicing; 2) managing the supplier capacity planning tool using tools such as InfoPath, Access and or Excel; 3) leveraging interpersonal skills by working with subject matter experts (SMEs) to fabricate internal informational bulletins on topics such as account payable (AP) issues; 4) Collect, validate, categorize and maintain supplier quotes for processing in to the P2P pricing database 5) Perform other ad hoc assignments as required.
Knowledge and background in the electronics field. Ability to quickly come up to speed on the SAP Procure to Pay system, familiarity with Microsoft Office, proficiency with Excel data manipulation, and strong customer service.
