Job Description We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our purchasing operations.

This pivotal role involves directing the procurement of all direct and indirect materials, with a focus on establishing a cutting-edge inventory management system that adheres to FAR 52.245-1 government property management regulations. The successful candidate will oversee annual purchases and expenditures totaling $100 million. Key Responsibilities:

Organize, manage, and participate in weekly and monthly physical inventory counts within the facility Execute inventory procedures using an electronic tracking system, addressing any discrepancies by notifying location management and investigating the underlying causes Ensure timely and accurate inventory counts, maintaining proper documentation and filing Responsible for resolving all inventory discrepancies and reporting on the resolution process, ensuring transparency and accountability Provide expert guidance on FAR 52.245-1 to ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations Design and implement an advanced inventory tracking system to enhance inventory control procedures Verify incoming orders from customers and vendors to ensure the accuracy of materials received and consistency of information Implement a data-driven supply chain model, incorporating Make to Order, Make to Stock, and Customer Managed Inventory strategies Meet current and future operational requirements promptly, ensuring adherence to quality standards, competitive pricing, and exceptional vendor service Qualifications: B.S./B.A. in Business Management (preferred) Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in procurement management, preferably within a similar industry In-depth knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 government property management regulations Comprehensive expertise in cost analysis, internal controls, inventory management, procurement, shipping and receiving, contract negotiation, and record management Ability to span across multiple disciplines, encompassing skills in analysis, process improvement, verbal communication, coordination, attention to detail, and judgment Excellent organizational and time-management abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively when appropriate Ability to function well in a fast-paced and high-stress environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Willing and able to work extended hours and weekends as required Benefits: Competitive salary Paid Overtime 100% Employer paid comprehensive health benefits 4% 401(K) Match Flexible working schedule Opportunities for professional development and advancement Exciting and challenging work environment Are you passionate about optimizing procurement processes and driving organizational success through strategic sourcing and innovative supply chain practices?
