Tyndale is actively seeking our next Procurement Manager to join our team! As the Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient sourcing, purchasing, and management of materials and supplies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality and service standards.

HYBRID/REMOTE: Tyndale supports a strong work-life balance. This opportunity requires onsite work a minimum of 2 days a week, with 3 days a week working remotely. To be considered, candidates must reside within a commutable distance from our Tyndale headquarters in Pipersville, PA (Bucks County) for onsite work as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing for materials and services.

  • Vendor Management: Oversee supplier performance, including quality, delivery, and responsiveness. Conduct regular vendor assessments and implement improvement plans as needed.

  • Cost Optimization: Analyze pricing trends, market conditions, and supply chain risks to identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service levels.

  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that materials and products meet our quality standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Procurement Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline workflows.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, and finance teams, to align procurement activities with business objectives and operational needs.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.

  • Minimum of 3 years prior staff management experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on cost analysis and risk management.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
