Based in D.C., my client is one of the most recognized, up and coming technology companies in the mid-Atlantic. They provide a data platform for mobile and web applications which provide the building blocks to add location features like maps, search, and navigation into any experience you create. They now reach more than 300 million people each month. Today they?re seeking a Procurement Manager to join the team in this newly created role, reporting to their Controller. This position is handling 90% of their US based procurement and will travel occasionally to San Francisco, CA. This role will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and negotiating cost-effective global purchasing for all of needs, including marketing, events, software, service providers, and physical goods. This role will also implement a new global travel and expense system.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree

  • Corporate procurement experience, 3+ years

  • Tech procurement experience
