The team you will be a part of
The Procurement team identifies researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply. Recognizes and evaluates sales, promotional campaigns, and other opportunities to secure reduced prices. Assesses supplier's products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization's quality standards.

Whirlpool is currently seeking a Procurement Manager
Your responsibilities will include
Developing the sourcing strategy for KitchenAid Small Appliances (KASA) and managing the business relationship with the suppliers (supplier selection, supplier development, contract negotiations, tariff analysis, supplier issue resolution, supplier cost reductions, purchase order approvals, and management).
Serving as key procurement contact for all new product launch activities.
Leading and supporting various process partner needs, including engineering, marketing, and design.
Evaluating suppliers on cost, quality, delivery, and other information to determine the viability of suppliers.
Performing periodic market testing to drive cost leadership.
Driving compliance to process and continuous improvement in the KitchenAid Small Appliance (KASA) space.
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are accomplished in all work streams.

Minimum requirements
Preferred skills and experiences
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance
Demonstrated practical use of supplier management and sourcing principles
Negotiation, conflict resolution, and management skills
Build strong rapport and relationships with internal process partners and Suppliers
Analytical and computer-related skills
Manage and prioritize multiple key activities
Potential and work ethic for future growth
