Title: Procurement Data Privacy Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
This position in NCR Sourcing / Procurement Compliance will have responsibility for reviewing the NCR supply base, determining the nature of the product / service being offered and the personal data elements shared, utilized and retained by the supplier and ensuring that the required data privacy addendum or data security addendum is in place. In addition, new suppliers to NCR will be on-boarded only after personal data and security information is clearly reviewed and the required addendum is in place. Lastly, to work with NCR sourcing and support teams to review new and existing processes and systems/applications to ensure that privacy by design is built into the process including compliance with NCR record retention policy.
The candidate will need to attend scheduled calls to report procurement metrics and strategy as well as provide reports to management on minimum standards needed to meet regional / global regulations and where NCR procurement stands regionally in achieving them.
The role requires identification of issues / risks and working on potential remediation plans to resolve, developing reports and presentations as needed and creating training materials to be provided to the procurement community and support teams to ensure that personal data ownership is clearly communicated and privacy by design is built into NCR systems and processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
To identify when/where personal data is being processed
To identify when PD is being entrusted/transferred to 3rd parties/suppliers To identify which document is required (with support/guidance/training if required)
To monitor compliance with data export requirements and data retention requirements in particular
To ensure the right agreements/statement are agreed at the right time and competently managed (changes/updates/etc.)
To maintain records of above for accountability purposes
To review internal processes and ensure personal data elements are identified and managed to meet legislative requirements and build privacy by design into new or existing processes
To review internal systems and applications and ensure personal data elements are identified and managed to meet legislative requirements and build privacy by design into new or existing systems / applications
To define, report and execute the supply base strategy for DPA compliance based on the existing supply base count, mix of commodities, regions and available resources both within Procurement and existing NCR partners, and to highlight issues / risks to Procurement senior management
To identify risk / issues in NCR Procurement processes, systems and applications and develop a remediation plan to address and build in privacy by design in the future
To develop training materials and learning for the procurement teams and support teams to ensure understanding of personal data elements and the legislative requirement to manage Supporting Data Privacy request / breach incidents responding back to the relevant NCR internal parties Participate in Data Protection Impact Assessments
