Job Description

The person selected will collaborate with HR, Procurement, and the Non-Employee Workforce Project Management Office. Cross-functional support and alignment with the Managed Service Provider (MSP) will be critical.

This role reports within the Global Corporate Procurement team. You would be leading the category strategy for Contingent Workforce Management, Employee Benefits & HR Services in partnership with business teams throughout KLA. It includes working with the teams to define and implement strategies supporting business priorities across a category's complete life cycle. This will require leading a preferred supplier base (handling new emerging and existing legacy non-directional categories) and assisting and driving standards of excellence where warranted.

The lead will build cross-functional teams to address key contract renewals aligned with category metrics to resolve opportunities to improve value and maintain service while driving time frames aligned with various businesses and support groups. Key leadership traits required include influencing and forming positive relationships with business leaders and operational excellence in running multiple complex priorities simultaneously. The Category Lead is an experienced practitioner in creating environments and has a strong bias for decision-making rooted in Sourcing, data, and analytics. As a subject matter expert in nonemployee workforce/contingent labor in VMS tools. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a team that daily impacts company success.

Responsibilities

  • Lead implementation of global category strategies, including regional and localization of these strategies

  • Category lead for HR Services and Employee Benefits

  • Leading a non-employee global workforce program.

  • Recommend cost-saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis or alternative Sourcing.

  • Work with an MSP team to evaluate supplier core proficiencies and positioning using industry cost models and benchmarking analysis.

  • Work with business and finance leaders to identify and drive savings and controllership improvements, focusing on the total cost of ownership.

  • Consistently develop and recommend reasonable, data-driven, business-building ideas and encourage the use of customer and market insights to advise business decisions

  • Support cross-functional teams throughout the Sourcing, vendor management, negotiations, contracting, and standards.

  • Guide internal partners on procurement strategies and maintain procurement ethics following KLA's global policies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain/Procurement or other related fields.

  • Deep working and proven knowledge of services Procurement, Sourcing, and contingent workforce within the staffing/recruitment industry (SOW)

  • Subject matter expertise with the ability to translate strategies into executable plans.

  • Very customer-focused, taking the time to understand the needs of the business.

  • Strong analytical skills include quickly synthesizing distill and drawing conclusions on large amounts of disparate data.

  • Excellent organization skills, time management, and planning abilities, acute attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment

  • Deep knowledge of sourcing & procurement strategic levers and tactics.

  • Strong ability to influence others with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences as well as high-level executives

  • Knowledge of VMS systems is required, such as Beeline, Fieldglass, and Coupa.

  • Previous experience managing a Contingent Labor Program

  • Previous experience in category management of HR services and Employee Benefits.

  • Experienced in Creating and executing HR and Employee benefits contracts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in team management is a plus.

Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years or 6 years Masters Degree

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
