• 5:00pm Responsibilities: Utilize the purchasing system to create purchase orders and manage related tasks.
  
  Issue Requests for Proposal (RFPs) in accordance with business practices and guidelines. Conduct supplier sourcing, onboard new vendors, and maintain accurate vendor contact details. Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and coordinate with vendors and divisions for SOW or specifications.
  
  Follow established checklists and guidelines to collect and analyze required documentation. Perform detailed price analysis on complex purchases. Negotiate terms and conditions using an established matrix.
  
  Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred). 3 years of experience in negotiating and managing purchase orders, with strong supplier communication skills. Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS). 3 years of experience in government purchasing/contracting is highly desirable.
  
  Proficient in market research and skilled in using MS Office, especially Word and Adobe. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, with strong multitasking skills and an energetic approach to tasks.
