The West Virginia Fleet Management Division (FMD) strives to provide management services for 7,000 1-ton and under-classified vehicles. Ensuring these vehicles are appropriate for the transportation needs of the users, interfacing with all levels of State Government, and coordinating the involvement of state agencies that lease and manage vehicles. The Fleet Management Division is hiring a Procurement Associate who will:

  • Draft, complete, and submit wvOASIS documents with acquiring and retiring fixed assets which include but are not limited to Fixed Assets (FA),  Fixed Asset Disposition (FD), and Receiving (RC).

  • Facilitate the process of acquiring and retiring a finance package for leased vehicles. This includes initiation and tracking of the documentation submitted and obtaining the title for said vehicle.

  • Facilitate the process of acquiring, tracking, and ensuring license plates and registrations are current with the DMV and the agencies operating a state vehicle leased from the FMD. This requires being a liaison between the DMV and any state agency that utilizes FMD services.

  • Draft and submit specifications to the State of WV Purchasing Division for contracts that enable state agencies to acquire goods and services through the FMD. Modification and submission of contracts to current vendors.

  • Identify and research potential vendors that can provide cost-effective services to the FMD and the agencies to which it provides goods and services.

  • Procure needed supplies that enable the FMD to run efficiently and effectively.

Training: High school diploma or the equivalent.

AND

Experience: Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid clerical experience which included purchasing supplies and maintaining inventory.

OR

Substitution: Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university may substitute for the required experience.
